It is with a heavy heart and loving memories that we announce the passing of Virginia Allen Daniel on Friday, October 16, 2026. A loving mother, wife and faithful Christian.

Born in Newington, Georgia, the daughter of the late Russell C. Allen and the late Elmer T. Allen with 3 brothers & 2 sisters on October 4, 1934. A high school graduate and lifelong resident of Savannah, she was a true southern lady.

After raising 3 sons, she and her late husband Thomas S. Daniel, Jr. adopted an infant daughter in their later years. Above all was her love for God and the Isle of Hope Baptist Church, of which, she was a founding member.

After a full life of 92 years, she leaves behind her sons, Richard E. Daniel, Thomas R. Daniel, and Walter A. Daniel; her daughter, Kayla D. Daniel; 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held Friday, October 23, 2026 at 11 a.m. at Isle of Hope Baptist Church, 22 Rose Avenue Savannah, Georgia 31406, with interment to follow at Antioch Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, 827 Antioch Church Rd, Twin City, Georgia 30471. A visitation will take place an hour prior to the service.
