Thurman Forrest Davis, III "Bubba", 50, of Garden City passed away Tuesday, May 21, 2019.
A native of Garden City he was the son of the late Thurman Forrest Davis, Jr. and Sandra Nunn Davis.
Bubba was a diesel mechanic and enjoyed being in the yard listening to music, and being surrounded by family and friends. But NASCAR on Sunday afternoons was his favorite. Bubba was a very loving father and Papa to his daughter, son-in-law and grand babies. He was a Man Who Loved with all his Heart.
He was preceded in death by his daddy, Thurman Forrest Davis, Jr. and his uncle, George Hunt.
Survivors include his daughter and son-in- law, Kayleigh and Scott Helton of Swainsboro Georgia; granddaughter, Allison Helton; grandson, Levi Helton both of Swainsboro; his mama, Sandra Davis; brother and sister-in-law, Sean Katie Davis of Rincon; sister, Lisa Duff of Rincon; aunt, Tony Hunt and many other aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be 2:30 pm - 3:30 pm, Friday May 24, 2019 at Baker McCullough Funeral Home Garden City Chapel.
Funeral Service will follow at 3:30 pm in the Chapel of the Funeral Home.
Interment will be at Oak Hill Cemetery in Meldrim, Georgia.
