It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Thomas Jared Ainsworth, affectionately known as TJ, who left this world on Thursday, September 3rd, 2026. Born on February 12th, 1986, in Savannah, Georgia, TJ spent his entire life in Effingham County, Georgia, where his warmth and generosity touched many lives.

A devoted family man, TJ is survived by his beloved wife of 16 years, Kristen M. Hollingsworth Ainsworth; his children, Aiden Joshua, Leah "Paige," and Thomas Floyd "Tommy," who were his pride and joy. He is also survived by his loving mother, Darlene L. Ainsworth; his sister, Stephanie Reese, her husband, Tim, and their son, Declan; his brother, Jonathan Robert Ainsworth, and his wife, Hailey. He will be dearly missed by his grandmother, Camille Love, his aunt, Shelly Ainsworth, his uncles, Tom Baker, Joe Ainsworth, Derek Love, his mother-in-law, Terese Hollingsworth and grandmother-in-law, Janell Hollingsworth, along with many other relatives and a wide circle of friends.

TJ was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Randall Ainsworth, whose memory he honored throughout his life, he is also preceded in death by his grandparents, Thomas W. Ainsworth and Helen P. Ainsworth.

He attended South Effingham High School, TJ was the owner and operator of Radar Handyman, where his skilled craftsmanship won the respect of his community. Beyond his work, he passionately devoted his time as a Baseball Coach with the Rincon Recreation Department. He was a member and served as a Royal Ranger Commander at Maranatha Family Church, where he was warmly known as Commander TJ.

TJ's love for the outdoors was evident in his passion for leather smithing and camping adventures. He was a proud supporter of Alabama Crimson Tide football and shared his love of sports with all who knew him.

A gathering for family and friends will take place at Maranatha Family Church, 454 Wisenbaker Road, Rincon, GA, on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, from 10:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 11:00 a.m. in the church sanctuary.
