Stephen "Steve" Lee Prescott, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away on Thursday, May 15th, 2025, at his residence in Bloomingdale, GA. Born on Tuesday, September 20th, 1955, in Savannah, GA, Steve lived a full and vibrant life for 69 cherished years.

Steve was a proud 1973 graduate of Glenn High School in Birmingham, Alabama. He spent his career working as a Parts Manager, ultimately retiring from the Chatham County Fleet Department. Throughout his professional journey, he also made significant contributions at White Brothers Auto Parts, NAPA, and CAT.

A man with eclectic interests, Steve had a deep love for rock n roll music and delighted in traveling and cruises, always eager for his next adventure. He was an avid visitor of zoos and harbored a rich fascination as a Titanic history buff, often captivating those around him with stories filled with historical intrigue. Known for his dry sense of humor, Steve had a unique way of seeing the world and bringing joy to those around him.

Steve leaves behind his devoted wife of 11 and a half years, Roxann Prescott, who stood by his side through life's many chapters. He is also survived by his loving daughter, Melissa Prescott, and his cherished grandson, Calum Brown. His memory will live on in the hearts of his sister, Kathy Prescott, and his brothers, Robert Prescott and wife Angela, Johnny Prescott and wife Joyce, and Danny Prescott and wife Nora. Steve's legacy will also be carried on by several nieces, nephews, and countless other family members and friends who were blessed to know him.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who touched Steve's life, both near and far. His unique spirit and love for life will remain an enduring source of comfort and inspiration to all he knew.
