Snowford "Snow" B. Hornsby, 84, of Bloomingdale passed away Tuesday, August 1st, 2017 at her residence.
A native of Robinson County, North Carolina, she was the daughter of Leroy Oxendine and Essie McPherson. She was a Veneer Turner for Georgia Pacific until her retirement.
She was preceded in death by her parents Leroy Oxendine and Essie McPherson, her husband, Russell Hornsby, her brother, Roy Brosky and a daughter in law, Gertrude Hornsby.
Survivors include her son, Rickey Hornsby, her daughters, Donna Howard (Chris), Francine Thornton, (Andy) Starlyn McDowell , Pamela Bragg (David), her thirteen grandchildren, several great grandchildren and several nieces, nephew and other relatives.
The family will receive friends, Friday, August 4th, 2017 from 6 pm to 8 pm. at Baker McCullough Funeral Home - Garden City Chapel. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, August 5th, 2017 at 11 am in the Baker McCullough Funeral Home - Garden City Chapel, with burial to follow at Hillcrest Abbey West Cemetery.
