Sandy Lynn Lewis, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on March 12th, 2025, at the age of 62. Born in Augusta, Georgia, on September 21st, 1962, Sandy was a cherished resident of Richmond Hill, GA, where she built a life full of love and warmth.

Sandy's legacy lives on through her beloved children: Heather Booth, April Strickland and husband Tommy Strickland, Jake House, and Mark House. She was the adored grandmother of Blake Rogers, Ashton House, Cooper Newton, Thomas Strickland III, and Kyla House. Her sister, Nikki Maddox and her children Haylee Shephard, Brooklyn Bearden and Payton Bearden. Also surviving her, is long time companion, Tommy Stricklnd Sr., carrying forward their shared memories and special bond.

Sandy was predeceased by her parents, Jake Lewis and Linda Simons Lewis, her cherished sister, Sharon Barefoot, her grandmother, Hattie Simons (B.F. Simons), and the father of her children, Alan "Randy" House.

A dedicated server for many years, Sandy touched the lives of many with her joyful spirit and warm presence. Her love for the beach, boating, and fishing was only matched by her passion for gardening and her affection for animals. Above all, Sandy was a God-loving woman who relished her role as a devoted mother and grandmother, earning the title of "best mom in the world" from her adoring children.

Sandy's life was a testament to love, kindness, and the joy of simple pleasures. Her vibrant spirit, nurturing heart, and unwavering faith inspired everyone who knew her.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate Sandy's remarkable life at a later date, which will be announced when plans are complete.
