Roslyn V. Clark, age 80, passed away on Monday, February 23, 2026, at her home in Savannah, Georgia. She was born in Savannah and spent most of her life here, and was the daughter of the late Roswell Daniel and Virginia Bald.
Roslyn attended Savannah High School, graduating in 1962, and earned a degree in Psychology from Georgia Southern University. She began her career in the medical field. She later transitioned to education as a beloved middle school teacher, making a positive impact at Sacred Heart and Shuman Middle School. Roslyn cultivated many passions throughout her life. She adored nurturing plants, particularly African Violets, and found peace in the company of her beloved dogs, and she loved to take them for long walks on trails throughout the islands. Her love for photography allowed her to capture life's precious moments, while her time spent sailing reminded her of life's endless horizons. She was a member of St. Paul's Greek Orthodox Church, and spent many years singing in the church choir.
Roslyn was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. For 28 wonderful years, she shared her life with her husband, John E. Clark. She is also survived by her son, William "Billy" Norse and his wife Sia, and her cherished grandchildren: Elise, Astrid, Margo, and Julia.
Her memory will be honored at a visitation on Thursday, February 26, 2026, from 6:00 pm to 6:30 pm at St. Paul's Greek Orthodox Church in Savannah, Georgia. A Trisiagon will follow at 6:30 pm. The funeral service will be held at St. Paul's Greek Orthodox Church on Friday, February 27, 2026, at 1:00 pm, followed by the burial at Bonaventure Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, Roslyn's family kindly requests that donations be made in her name to the Humane Society for Greater Savannah, 7215 Sallie Mood Drive, Savannah, Georgia 31405.
