Rickey Joe "Rickey Joe from Kokomo" Phillips, age 70, passed away on June 22, 2026. He was born in Anniston, Alabama. He worked at Gulfstream Aerospace. Mr. Phillips was an avid University of Alabama fan. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bonnie and Samuel Phillips; three brothers, Mickey Phillips, Roger Phillips, Bobby Phillips; son-in-law, Brian Finlay.

Rickey is survived by his wife of 50 years Pamela Phillips; daughter, Shasta Finlay; son, Justin (Ashley) Phillips; two grandchildren, Nicholas Gage Bergeron and Elizabeth Hope Phillips; sister, Vickie (Al) Cobb; sister-in-law, Gay Hammett Phillips.

Visitation will be on Friday, June 26, 2026, from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Baker McCullough Funeral Home Hodgson Chapel with the funeral service to follow at 2:00 pm at the funeral home also.
