Ralph Michael "Mike" Daniel, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 21, 2026. Mike was born on November 22, 1955, in Edinburgh, Scotland, the son of the late Raymond and Patricia Daniel.

Mike was a 1974 graduate of Beach High School, and his journey through life was marked by dedication and a deep sense of service. He served his country with honor as a Military Police officer in the United States Air Force and later joined the National Guard, where he was deployed during Operation Desert Storm and Operation Desert Shield. When not serving in the National Guard, Mike worked in the glass industry, specifically focusing on windshields and auto glass. After retiring from the glass industry, he served in security. He later dedicated ten years of service with the City of Savannah Water Department, retiring as a Dispatcher. His interests and affiliations were as diverse as the life he led. Mike was a life member of the VFW, which attested to his unwavering patriotism. He was also a member of the Southern Cruisers Motorcycle Club. He was an avid Georgia Tech fan as well as an avid golfer. He enjoyed playing the sport as well as watching tournaments, and delighted in cruising in his Dodge Charger.

Mike is survived by his loving wife of ten years, Kathryn Daniel, his Ma, Ann Daniel; children Heather (Brad), Aaron (Destiny), Sam, and Josh; his sisters, Paula Ferguson and Stacy Bazemore (John); his brother, Scot Daniel; and his dear grandchildren Taylor, Macy, and Aleena, as well as his best friend, Ronnie White. Mike was preceded in death by his parents, his sister-in-law, Rebecca Daniel, and his mother-in-law, Barbara Page.

A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, May 30, 2026 from 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. at the Lake Mayer Park Conference Room (1850 East Montgomery Crossroads, Savannah, GA 31406) to honor Mike.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests contributions be made to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
