Rachel Ann Atkins Johansen went home to Jesus on Tuesday March 10, 2026. She was born in Portland, Maine on February 7, 1964.

 She was pre-deceased by her mother Sarah Atkins and her sister Sharon Broadwater. 

She is survived by: her father Martin (Tom) Atkins, her sons Timothy and Luke, her precious granddaughter Adalynn, and her sister Mary Holt. She also leaves behind her sweet Joeline Glenn, nephews Benjamin, Andrew, James, Jacob, Isaac, and Joshua and one niece Sarah, plus three grand nephews and two grand nieces. 

A celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 11th, 2026 at Winsor Forest Baptist Church 12521 White Bluff Road Savannah. The family will receive friends at 10:00 am followed by the service at 11:00 am. 

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Hospice Savannah or Windsor Forest Baptist Church.
