Phillip G. Woods

Phillip G. Woods, 54, of Garden City, Georgia, passed away on July 27, 2026.

Born on June 25, 1972, Phillip lived a life defined by service, dedication, and a strong work ethic. He was a proud graduate of Robert W. Groves High School, Class of 1990, and went on to serve his country honorably in the United States Marine Corps. Throughout his life, Phillip continued his commitment to serving others through his work with the Pooler Police Department and as a member of Pipe Fitters Union Local 188. Most recently, he worked as a Host at Walmart, where he was known for his friendly smile and welcoming personality.

A Celebration of Life gathering will be held on Thursday, August 6, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Baker McCullough Funeral Home Garden City Chapel.
