Peggy Jenkins Emmett (11/18/1941-5/11/2025) was born to Marvin Wilbur Jenkins and Sarah Hilley Jenkins.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years and the love of her life, Jerry Lane Emmett. High school sweethearts, they traveled the world together and raised two children. Nanny, as she was known to her adoring grandchildren and great-grandchildren, devoted her life to loving and caring for her family.
She is also survived by her children, Lori Saunders (Rick), Tracy Emmett (Missi); grandchildren, Matthew Saunders (Alexis), Michael Saunders (Clare), Ryan Saunders (Katelyn), Olivia Day, Angela Cowart (Austin), Nick Emmett (Emma); eight great-grandchildren; and her sister, Sherry Reese.
Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice Savannah (1352 Eisenhower Drive Savannah, GA 31406).
