Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Pamela Denise Douberley Anderson, cherished wife, devoted mother, and beloved sister and friend. Pam passed away peacefully on her 58th birthday, Monday, July 27th, 2026.

Pam was born on July 27th, 1968, in Savannah, Georgia. She spent her formative years in her birthplace before making her home in Brunswick. Pam's life was a testament to her deep love for family and her unwavering commitment to helping others through her work and personal life.

For many years, Pamela worked as an Optometric Technician at Anderson Eye Care, where she was highly respected and loved by both colleagues and patients. Her gentle nature and attentive care left a lasting impression on all those she served.

She was preceded in death by her dear daughter Jessica Denise Dowd, son Jason Aaron Dowd, Jr. "Boy," father Luther Douberley, mother LaRose Lanita Vosburgh, and stepfather Nelson “Bernie” Bernard Vosburgh.

Pam is survived by her beloved husband of 30 years, Benjamin "Ben" Anderson; her adored daughters, Samantha Peacock (DJ) and Victoria Eskew (Justin Charlton); her grandchildren, Ozzie Diaz, John Eskew, Taliyah and Izzy Charlton; her brother, Everett Douberley (Pam); sister, Saramay Douberley (Ken Baker); stepsister, Bernadette Brown(Joe); and stepbrother, John Vosburgh (Jo Brinkley). Pam also leaves behind several cherished nieces, nephews, extended family members, and countless friends who were touched by her kindness and warmth.

Her commitment to her family was unwavering, with a special place in her heart reserved for her grandchildren, whom she loved immensely. Pamela found joy in every family gathering, cherishing each moment spent with loved ones.
