Mildred B. Gage, age 97, died Monday, October 19, 2009 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
Graveside rites will be held at 11:00A.M., Thursday, October 22, 2009 from the Bonaventure Cemetery with Rev. William Gardner officiating. The family will be receiving friends on Wednesday, October 21, 2009 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Bonaventure Funeral home.
Mrs. Gage was born in Liberty County, Georgia on April 15, 1912 to the late L.E. Braddy and Annie Dukes Braddy. She was a long time member of Bull Street Baptist church and was an avid reader and was also a contributor to various charities. Mrs. Gage retired from Shuey Company of Savannah as a lab technician.
Mrs. Gage is survived by her daughters, Joan Waters of Savannah and Linda Pittman of Columbia, S.C.; Grandchildren, Richard Williams, Susan Waters, David Waters, Donna Pittman, Allan Pittman. 4 Great-Grandchildren and 2 Great-Great-Grandchildren.
Bonaventure Funeral Home is in charge with arrangements.
