Michael Anthony Dozier

Michael Anthony Dozier, age 66, of Savannah, GA, passed away on Friday, May 17th, 2024 at Landmark Hospital. He was born on Thursday, August 1st, 1957 in Savannah, GA.

Michael was a beloved son, father, grandfather, and brother. He is survived by his daughter, Michelle Williams (Igwe Lukata), son, Michael E. Dozier, mother Barbara Daniels Robbins, grandchildren, Toriana Williams, Caden Jordan, Leah Dozier, and Ivy Rose Lukata, as well as his brothers, Lester Dozier III, Robert "Bobby" W. Dozier, Reginald "Reggie" C. Dozier, and Christopher "Chris" Jay Dozier. He is also survived by other loving family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Lester Dozier Jr, and a brother Keith G. Dozier.

Michael was a graduate of Windsor Forest High School class of 1978. He worked as a custodian for the Savannah Chatham County Board of Education at A.B. Williams Elementary School.

He was a member of St. John Baptist Church "The Mighty Fortress" and attended Davis Ark Baptist Church.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at Baker McCullough Funeral Home Garden City Chapel in Garden City, Georgia on Saturday, June 8th, 2024 at 11:00 am.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. May he rest in peace.
