Martha Eileen Mason

Martha Mason passed away on April 18, 2025 after a short illness.

She was born to Ira and Mae Chambers on September 8, 1932. Her childhood years were spent in Americus, Georgia. She attended Americus city schools and Andrews College.

After marriage to Frank Ellis Mason, they lived in several communities before being transferred to Richmond, Virginia. They returned to Atlanta in 1972 where she was employed by Robinson Humphrey Company for 25 years.

She was a member of St. Martin in the Fields Episcopal Church where she served on the Altar Guild and was a member of the St. Mary Magdalene Chapter.

She is survived by her daughter, Angela Mason Bohne, son-in-law, Reed Bohne, of Savannah, Georgia, granddaughter Anne Curtis (Brett), of Atlanta, grandson Gregory Waite Bohne (Kate) of Toronto, Ontario, Canada, grandson Clark Mason Bohne (Rachel), of Atlanta, and seven great-grandchildren: Charles Curtis, Caroline Curtis, Parker Bohne, Spencer Bohne, Isabel Bohne, Cyrus Bohne, and Emma Bohne; two sisters Janean Baker of Jacksonville, Florida and Margie Foster-Moseley of Hermitage, Tennessee, and many nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held at St. Martin in the Fields Episcopal Church in Atlanta Georgia on Saturday, May 3, 2025 at 11:00. Memorials may be made to St. Martin-in-the- Fields Episcopal Church or the Humane Society of Atlanta.
