Martha Herroon Macon

Martha Herroon Macon of Pooler died peacefully at home on Saturday, May 17th, 2025.

She was a loving mother to three daughters: Janet Mobley of Corinth, Kentucky, Lisa Macon-Stewart of Knoxville, Tennessee, and Sarah Harper of Garden City, Georgia, as well as her son-in-law, Robbie Harper. She was proud of her six grandchildren: Stephanie, Samantha, Chandler, Starla, Zachary, and Kylee. Martha also treasured her six great-grandchildren. While sadly preceded in death by her two younger sisters, Diane and Nannette, she was always cared for by her brothers-in-law, Billy Wahlen of Raleigh, North Carolina, and Mike Mullins of Brooklet, Georgia.

Working at Memorial Medical Center for around thirty years, she gained countless lifelong friends and many fond memories. Throughout her life as daughter, sister, mama, granny, and friend, she was known to keep a warm smile on her face, a kind word for anyone around, and a prayer for whoever may need it.

Martha chose a small, private scattering of her ashes so there will be no formal service.
