Savannah
Margaret C. Haymans, age 92, of Savannah answered her Master's call home on Wednesday, February 25, 2026. She was a member of Bible Baptist Church and a member in the Masters Class.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Ernest and Larry Haymans; father of her children, Ernest Brooks Haymans; her parents, William and Georgie Crawford; brother, Lewis Crawford; sisters, Hazel Dixon, Isabell Grant, and Susan Neel; son-in-law, Robert "Bob" H. Benedict; and a beloved grandson, Adam Haymans.
Margaret is survived by her wonderful children, Richard and Pam Haymans, Tamra Haymans-Benedict, Janet and Paul Poteralski, and Audrey and James "Jimmy" Messex; eight grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
A good and faithful servant, she lived a long and blessed life with God's loving care and Jesus' promise of her home with him for all eternity.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 3, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at Bible Baptist Church (4700 Skidaway Road, Savannah, GA 31404).
Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens (315 Greenwich Road, Savannah, GA 31404).
Visitation will be held Monday evening, March 2, 2026 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Baker McCullough Funeral Home, Hodgson Memorial Chapel (7415 Hodgson Memorial Drive, Savannah, GA 31406).
In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Hospice Savannah (1352 Eisenhower Drive, Savannah, GA 31406).
