In Loving Memory of Marcey Rail Bednarski
January 28, 1975 – February 18, 2026
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Marcey Rail Bednarski, who passed away on February 18, 2026, at Hospice Savannah.
Born on January 28, 1975, Marcey lived a life defined by love, laughter, and deep devotion to her family. She was vibrant, fun, and beautifully outgoing — the kind of person whose energy could fill a room and whose smile made others instantly feel at ease. She had a wholehearted spirit and a heart that gave freely, always putting others before herself.
Marcey was a devoted and loving mother to her cherished daughter, Kaitlyn Bednarski, who was the center of her world and her greatest pride. She shared a deep and enduring love with her husband, Roman Ray Bednarski, who preceded her in passing on March 18, 2017. The bond they shared was one rooted in loyalty, laughter, and unconditional love.
She is lovingly survived by her parents, Lawrence Maner Sr. and Laurie Maner; her brother, Lawrence Maner Jr.; her sister Kimberly Maner; and her treasured niece, Victoria Maner, who was like a second daughter to both Marcey and Ray. She also leaves behind six beloved nieces and nephews — Logan D., Kyndal M., Tyler M., Avery M., Kinley, and Calynn — each of whom brought her immense joy and whom she loved dearly.
Marcey is also survived by her extended Bednarski family, including her father-in-law, Stanley Sr.; her brothers-in-law, Stanley John Jr. (Joni) and Phillip Edward (Christina); her nieces, Molly Jovan (Edward), Alyssa, Ava, and Audrey; and her nephews, Mark (Paige) and Eddie. She was preceded in passing by her brother-in-law, Mark Howard, and her mother-in-law, Cathy, whose memories remain cherished within the family.
Marcey had a special love for plants and found peace and happiness in nurturing them — just as she nurtured everyone around her. She was compassionate, generous, and selfless to her core. She was the one you could call at any hour. She celebrated others loudly, loved fiercely, forgave quickly, and carried a quiet strength that carried those around her through difficult times.
She will be remembered for her contagious laughter, her caring heart, her unwavering loyalty, and the way she made people feel deeply loved. Her legacy lives on in the family she adored and the countless lives she touched with her kindness.
Though our hearts ache in her absence, we take comfort in knowing she passed peacefully and is reunited with the love of her life.
A Celebration of Marcey's Life will be held on Monday, February 23, 2026, at 11:00 am at the Baker McCullough Funeral Home Garden City Chapel.
