Savannah, GA - Louellen Dyer Padgett, born November 16, 1942, in Savannah, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 8, 2026.

Louellen was a cherished daughter of the late William Frank Dyer, Sr., and Dorothy Louise Dyer. A devoted and loving homemaker, Louellen was a 1961 graduate of H.V. Jenkins High School. Her commitment to family and home was central to her life. In addition to her familial ties, Louellen found joy in simple pleasures such as watching TV, which were a source of comfort and relaxation for her.

Louellen was preceded in death by her dear spouse, Roscoe Padgett, her son, Christopher Saunders, and her sister, Mary "Ethel" Dyer. She is survived by her son, Richard Saunders. Her memory will also be cherished by her brothers, William F. Dyer, Jr., and his wife, Sue, Charlie Dyer, and her sister, Margaret D. Ubele, and her husband, Chris. Louellen was a beloved aunt to numerous nieces and nephews. Her close friend, Rachel Bryant, and her family were very dear to her heart.

The arrangements for Louellen have been entrusted to Baker McCullough Funeral Home Garden City Chapel. Although a private service will be announced at a later date, those wishing to honor Louellen's memory are encouraged to make donations for breast cancer awareness in lieu of flowers.
