It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Linda Eileen Tamblyn Carrao, who departed this life peacefully on Sunday, February 1st, 2026. Born on Tuesday, March 8th, 1955, in Wilmington, Delaware, Linda was the cherished daughter of the late Wesley Tamblyn and Mary Keenan Tamblyn. She was raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where she developed her lasting passion for helping others.
In 1993, Linda and her husband Peter moved to Georgia, making Long County their home for 18 years before settling in Richmond Hill 14 years ago. This community was enriched by her kind spirit, unwavering devotion, and vibrant presence.
Linda's professional career was marked by her dedication as a Licensed Practical Nurse. She spent 20 years in the nursing field, providing compassionate care in various nursing homes and specializing in Pediatrics Home Healthcare. Her patients and colleagues remember her as a gentle soul whose empathy and professionalism brought comfort to all she served.
Outside of her vocation, Linda was a member of the New Beginnings Community Church in Richmond Hill, where her faith was nurtured and sustained her throughout her life. She treasured her reading time, enjoyed tackling crossword puzzles, and indulged her curiosity with True Crime shows. Above all, Linda was a beacon of kindness—to people and pets alike—and embraced every moment with her family, who meant everything to her.
Linda is lovingly remembered by her devoted husband of 32 years, Peter Carrao; her children: Jason Karweik and his wife Buffy, Joshua Pacut and his wife Melissa, Christopher Pacut and his wife Lea, and Keenan Pacut and his wife Jennifer. Her legacy continues through her 10 grandchildren, Whitney, Zowey, Ethan, Shelby, Mason, Ayla, Kyra, Sydney, Oliver, Aria, 4 great-grandchildren, Maelynn, Rosaleigh, Findlay, Sawyer, and her beloved fur babies, Lola, Lily, and Precious. She leaves behind many other family members and friends, who were each touched by her compassion and vivacious spirit.
