Mrs. Linda Faye Bedgood, age 82, of Savannah passed away on Tuesday, October 14, 2025.
Mrs. Bedgood was born on October 14, 1943. She attended Savannah Technical College and earned her LPN license. She went on to work as an LPN for Dr. Harvey Morgan and was a member of The Sanctuary. Mrs. Bedgood loved nursing and also enjoyed playing the piano, previously serving as the pianist at St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Wendell & Helen Horton; and brothers-in-law, James Bedgood & Glenn Bedgood.
Survivors include her husband, Joseph "Joe" Carlton Bedgood; daughter & son-in-law, Holli & D.W. Wallace; sisters-in-law, Glenda & Jimmy Knowles and Frances Bedgood; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 17, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens (315 Greenwich Road Savannah, GA 31404).
In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Lupus Foundation of America (www.lupus.org) or the Humane Society for Greater Savannah (7215 Sallie Mood Drive Savannah, GA 31406).
