Larry Godbee Brown, age 86, passed away on May 16, 2026. He was married to the love of his life, Linda for 56 years. His happiest moments in life were spending time with those he considered his people and being with his two grandsons, Turner and Austin. He was a graduate of Savannah High class of 1958. Mr. Brown worked for ILA #1475 where he retired. He was preceded in death by his parents Vinnie Mae and Turner Daily Brown.

Mr. Brown is survived by his wife Linda Brown; one son, Scott Turner Brown; one daughter, Jennifer (Rob) Davis; two grandsons, Turner Davis and Austin (Brooke) Davis; two sisters, Betty Reese and Loraine (Wayne) Kidd.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at Baker McCullough Hodges Funeral Home from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. The funeral service will be at the funeral home on Thursday, May 21, 2026 at 1:30 pm in the Chapel with burial to follow at Hillcrest Abbey East Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital; Boys Town or Alee Shriners.
