Kymberly Anne Stalnaker Hodges, age 58, of Savannah, passed away on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at Memorial Health University Medical Center.
Kym was born on April 23, 1968, in Savannah, Georgia, and was a 1986 graduate of Sol C. Johnson High School. A lifelong Savannahian, Kym was devoted to the people she loved and treasured the relationships she built throughout her life.
Family and friends were at the center of Kym’s world. She loved deeply, cared generously, and was always willing to lend a helping hand whenever someone was in need. She had a special way of making those she loved feel like family, which was evident in the many people she welcomed into her life and loved as her own. Her kindness, loyalty, and caring nature will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Kym also enjoyed NASCAR and was an avid fan of the sport. More than anything, however, she cherished time spent with the people closest to her. The love she had for her family and friends, and the many memories they shared together, will remain an important part of her legacy.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary J. Puckett Stalnaker.
Kym is survived by her husband, John Scott Hodges; son, Kyle Hodges; father, Robert Henry Stalnaker, Jr.; brothers, Robert Stalnaker, III and John Paul Stalnaker; sister by choice, Lisa Cragg Davis; and many beloved nieces, nephews, adopted children, extended family members, and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 20, 2026, at Baker McCullough Funeral Home, Hodgson Memorial Chapel, 7415 Hodgson Memorial Drive, Savannah, Georgia 31406.
The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
