It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kristin Knight Falls, who left this world on Monday, February 12, 2024.
Kristin was born on August 2, 1950 and raised in Chicago, Illinois. She met her husband David Falls in Indiana and the two decided they were tired of the snow and needed warmer weather and moved to Savannah, Georgia in 1983. She began working at Brasseler USA and retired after over 30 years with the company.
From a young age, Kristin's dream was to own horses. Her husband David helped fulfill her wishes with her first love Shamrock. Shamrock then needed a friend and one horse turned into three. Kristin found solace and joy in Shamrock, Tony, and Colts presence. Whether it was riding them or simply spending time grooming and caring for them, Kristian's bond with her horses was evident to all that knew her.
Beyond her love for horses, Kristin's compassion extended to all animals. She provided care and companionship to the stray cats at work, rescued other animals in need, made sure that the squirrels around her home were happy, and also spoiled her yorkie Dinky.
Kristin is preceded in death by two sons, Clifford Marshall, and Raymond Marshall; and her parents, John Silander and Betty Knight Silander.
She is survived by her husband of 43 years, David Falls; and her son, William Marshall.
A memorial service to honor Kristin's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 24, 2024 at Baker McCullough Funeral Home, 7415 Hodgson Memorial Drive, Savannah, Georgia .
