Obituary

Kenneth Lee Hadwin, Sr. passed away at home after a long illness.

He leaves behind his wife of fifty-five years, Jane Powell Hadwin. He leaves four children, Lee Hadwin, Jr. (Dana Hadwin), Mary Hadwin Kirkland , Denise Hadwin Stewart, Kim Hadwin Brewer (Tommy Brewer); two brothers, John Powell (Tammy) and Jimmy Powell; three sisters, Judy Sullivan, Glenda Ellison, Angela Powell; thirteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Kenny was with ILA 2046 for 35 years. Kenny did not like his business in the street, so we will leave this as is.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Woodlawn Baptist Church, Garden City, Georgia, on Tuesday, September 8th, 2026, at 11:00 am. Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Kenneth are invited to join in honoring his memory. Visitation will take place prior to the service at the same location from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.

Kenneth Lee Hadwin Sr. leaves behind a legacy of integrity, perseverance, and love. While he may no longer walk among us, his spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew him. May he rest in eternal peace.
