Julie Anne Hoover Hunt - Julie was born in Nashville, Tennessee on October 21st, 1957 and shortly after the family moved to Savannah, Ga. Julie was a devoted member of Rothwell Baptist Church were she was active in stocking the pantry. Julie never met a stranger and would always be there for a friend when they needed it the most. Julie loved and cherished her family and all her many many friends, but most of all she loved her husband of 26 years Rick Hunt, her devoted soul mate.
Julie is survived by her husband, William Richard(Rick) Hunt, sister Jan Hoover Johnson, niece Abby McColl Johnson, nephews Orville Charles(Chip) Hoover II, Matthew Pritchard Johnson, grand nephews Evan and Jude Hoover and her best friend Tracy Harris.
Julie was Preceded in death by her parents Orville Charles Hoover Jr. and Mary Burnett Hoover, her brothers Orville Charles(Trey) Hoover III, Scott Burnett Hoover, brother in law Dale Matthew Johnson Jr. and Liz Andrews.
A Memorial Service to honor and celebrate the life of Julie will be held on Saturday January 24th, 2026 at 11:00 A.M. at Rothwell Baptist Church with Pastor Micah Ellington and Pastor Devin Bell officiating.
Julie's strength, grace, and unwavering love for her family and community have left an indelible mark on all who knew her.
