Joy Ruth Pollak

Joy Ruth Pollak, age 75, of Savannah, GA, passed away Wednesday, November 25, 2020 in her home in Savannah, GA. Joy was born on April 22, 1945, in Savannah, GA. She is preceded in death by her father Roy Jerrell, stepfather Grady Fincher, and her beloved husband of 29 years, Uri Pollak. She is survived by her daughter, Dalit Pollak; son, Jonathon "Yoni" Pollak; mother, Ruth Fincher; sisters, Judy Hill, Kay Jones, Jaime Anderson, and Jill Edenfield. For the past 7 years, Joy worked at a job she truly loved and enjoyed, as an executive assistant in the Fashion Design and Marketing Department at SCAD. Joy loved to travel to the beach, read in her sunroom, and watch football every Saturday and Sunday. A private graveside service will be held 11am November 29, 2020 at Arlington Memorial Park, Atlanta, GA.
