Scotty was a cherished resident and native son of Savannah, GA, where he was born on Saturday, January 7, 1978. His unexpected departure has left a void in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
Scotty's vibrant spirit and dedication to his craft shone through in his career as a standout wood floor installer, garnering admiration and respect from colleagues and clients alike. His work was a testament to his meticulous nature and deep love for his craft.
Family was central to Scotty's life. He is survived by his loving mother, Denise Duke Wilds, who fostered his lifelong connection to his hometown. He leaves behind his two beloved daughters, Hailey Wilds and Chelsea Wilds, whose lives were illuminated by his love and guidance. Scotty's legacy lives on in his granddaughter, Brayden Smith, who brought immense joy to his later years. He is also survived by his brother, Steve Duke, and sister-in-law Jan, who were steadfast sources of support. A host of cousins, extended family, and friends mourn his passing while cherishing the memories shared with this remarkable man.
Scotty was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Thomas Wilds, his sister, Jodi Roland, and his brother, Daniel Wilds, with whom he is now reunited in eternal peace.
Scotty's kindness, humor, and unwavering loyalty left an indelible mark on everyone who knew him. He will be missed beyond measure but remembered with love and gratitude for all he contributed to his community and loved ones.
