Known lovingly by his grandchildren as “Bigdaddy,” Tony was the heart of the family—a steady, joyful presence who could always be counted on for a laugh, a story, or a warm hug. Tony worked for the City of Savannah and later managed Poly Jon of Savannah. He was also the proud owner of Tony’s Jons,“Number 1 in the number 2 business.”

A man of many passions, Tony loved playing softball, and cornhole. He loved playing his favorite game , Half Rubber with his cousins. He was a proud member of the ‘Wops and Robins’ team and found great joy in taking countless vacations to the Smoky Mountains, outdoor adventures like rafting, hiking, and tubing in Deep Creek—his cherished “happy place.” Tony was a devoted family man and the life of every party. He was a faithful follower of Christ and a proud member of Cresthill Baptist Church. He cheered for the Atlanta Falcons despite their losing streak, and the Alabama Crimson Tide. His warmth, humor, and unwavering love left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him.

A Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at Calvary Baptist Wilder Chapel. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m., with the service to follow at 11:00 a.m.

Tony’s legacy of love, laughter, and loyalty will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. Although it pains his family greatly to say...Roll Tide!
