She could often be found tending her flowers, a sanctuary of beauty and tranquility, or engrossed in a novel, traveling through the intricate worlds crafted by her favorite authors. Her beloved cat, Jesse, and his best friend, Tommy, were constant companions who brought her immeasurable joy and comfort.

The heart of Janice's life was her family. She is survived by her loving son, Ken(Karen) Davis of Savannah, GA, grandchildren - Jared, Cody, Tyler, and Alyssa, great-grandchildren Phoebe and Jaxton, who were the light of her life and her greatest pride. In her passing, she is reunited with her parents, Frank and Evelyn Jordan, and her beloved husband, James Forsythe, whose memories she held dear.
