Mrs. Janice Branch Brantley, age 79, of Savannah, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 8, 2025.
She was born on October 2, 1945, in Savannah to the late Ned Branch, Sr. and the late Dorothy Moody Branch. She was a graduate of Jenkins High School class of 1964, where she was Miss Sequoia. She married her high school sweetheart and was a proud homemaker. She was an active member of Robert McIntire Methodist Church and later at Savannah Baptist Temple where she headed the banner committee and sang in the choir.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Thomas Brantley, IV,; her brother, Ned Branch, Jr.; and sister, Jean Marie Seckinger.
Janice was a loving wife, mother, grandmother (affectionately known as Honey), and great-grandmother. She is survived by her husband, Thomas Boykin Brantley, III; son, Troy Barron Brantley (Lee); grandchildren, Sara, Barron, Thomas, and Bridges; great-grandchildren, Thatcher and Lucas; and former daughter-in-law, Kathryn.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Savannah Baptist Temple (1151 Mohawk St. Savannah, GA 31419).
