James K. Harvey, 77, of Pooler, Georgia passed away peacefully on Thursday January 9, 2020.
James was an avid fisherman, outdoorsman, and overall hard-working man. He worked at Georgia Pacific, Ashland Chemicals, and lastly Savannah Forestry before retiring. He was a big lover of dogs, and left behind his poodle Simon.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Melton and Maude Harvey; brothers, Robert, Bobby, Talmadge, and Bradford ‘Tink’ Sauls; life-long companion, Donna Rackley.
He is survived by his daughter, Connie Lopez; brother, Alvin and Kathy Harvey; sister-in-laws, Maggie, Geneva, and Linda Sauls; step-daughter Kathy Rackley-Gilbert; several nieces, nephews, and grandkids.
At the request of the family, we ask that you donate money to Hospice House of Savannah in lieu of flowers.
