Mrs. Indiar "Indy" Anna Wilson, 85, passed away at her home on Friday, November 21, 2025.
Mrs. Wilson was born on October 15, 1940 in Marlow, Georgia to the late Bartow Davis and the late Essie Willie McClellen-Davis. She was raised in Savannah at The Episcopal Home for Girls and attended Savannah High School. Mrs. Wilson served as a waitress at Johnny Harris Restaurant in the 60s and worked as a sales associate at Parklane Hosiery. She then became a homemaker. Her favorite thing was being a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt to many. She loved to sew, cook, sing, and she had a green thumb. Every winter, her husband's shed became a greenhouse for all of her plants. Her love for singing led her to sing in the church choir as a soprano.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by the love of her life, her loving husband, Floyd Leroy "Lee" Wilson; and their beloved Yorkie, Khloe; four brothers; and three sisters.
Survivors include her two sons, James "Jimmy" E. Wilson and Robert "Jack" J. Wilson; step son, Glenn D. Wilson; daughters, Joyce W. Reed (Dana) and Bobbi L. Keith (Sean); step daughter, Sheila A. Thompson; six grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren. A host of nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 29, 2025 from 12:00 until 2:00 p.m. at Baker McCullough Funeral Home, Hodgson Memorial Chapel (7415 Hodgson Memorial Drive, Savannah, GA 31406).
