Hwa Cha "Debbie" Frommberger, age 74, of Savannah passed away on Friday, January 16, 2026.
Hwa Cha was born in South Korea to the late Baek Man Kim and the late Kye Chong Bak Kim where she grew up with her three sisters.
Debbie was a devoted woman of faith and family. Affectionally known as Oma, she was a loving and nurturing mother and grandmother. Her heart beat for her children, but especially for her grandchildren. She was a cherished friend and member of Richmond Hill Holiness Church. Debbie will be deeply missed by all whose lives she touched.
In addition to her parents, Debbie was preceded in death by her husband, Heinrich Frommberger.
She is survived by her son, John Ashley; daughter and son-in-law Pia and Thomas Lynn; and grandchildren Danni Lynn and Chase Lynn.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday January 21, 2026 from 12:00 noon until 1:00 p.m. at Baker McCullough Funeral Home, Hodgson Memorial Chapel in Savannah, Georgia, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 p.m.
Inurnment will follow the funeral service at Hillcrest Abbey West (1336 Dean Forest Rd, Savannah, GA 31405)
