Helen S. Wiggins Goodrich, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 20, 2026, at the age of 89 in Statesboro, Georgia. Born on April 4, 1936, in Thunderbolt, Georgia, Helen lived a life filled with love and dedication to her family.

Helen attended Metter High School. She went on to work as an Accounts Payable Clerk at Union Camp, dedicating 41 years before retiring. Outside of work, Helen was active with the Savannah Elks Lodge #183 Ladies Auxiliary and the American Legion Post 135 Ladies Auxiliary. Her involvement in these organizations showcased her generous spirit and desire to give back to her community. Helen enjoyed dancing, traveling, modeling clothes, and most importantly, taking care of her husband and family.

Helen shared 51 years of marriage with her devoted husband, Charles F. "Charlie" Goodrich Sr., who survives her. She is also survived by her daughter, Barbara Hogan and her husband Richard, her cherished grandson, Sammy Brian Morris, several great-grandchildren, as well as her stepchildren, Charles F. "Chuck" Goodrich Jr. and his wife Debbie, John Christopher "Chris" Goodrich and his wife Maryann, and Kathleen Elizabeth "Katy" Powell and her husband Richard. Helen joins in eternal rest her mother, Fronnie Powell, who preceded her in death.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at the Baker McCullough Funeral Home, Hodgson Memorial Chapel in Savannah, Georgia. The funeral service will follow at 12:00 pm, celebrating Helen's life. Burial will follow the service at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Savannah Elks Auxiliary.
