Faye Barnwell Sommers Biggans, 74 , of Springfield Georgia passed away Wednesday, September 30th, 2015 with her sister Quin by her side at Effingham County Hospital .
A native of Savannah, she was retired from Personal Pool Temp Company and was a member of The Lords House Of Prayer For All People. Faye was awarded the Alice McLellan Birney PTA Award, she enjoyed cooking and adored her grandchildren. .
She was preceded in death by her husband, Loyd "Spook" Sommers and a son, Jeffery Sommers.
Survivors include her children, Paula Sommers Richardson, Holly Newell, Michael Sommers; sisters, Pam, Maria, Quin, Gail; brothers, Billy and Jason; 6 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
The family will receive friends Sunday, October 4, 2015 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Fairhaven Funeral Home Garden City Chapel, Funeral Services will begin at 2:00 pm, with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
