Elsie Marie Redd-Mutti, of Davie, Florida, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 11, 2025, at the age of 83. Born in Sardis, Georgia, Elsie's vibrant spirit and unwavering devotion to her family and passions will be lovingly remembered by those who cherished her.
A graduate of Jenkins High School in 1959, Elsie embarked on a multifaceted career journey. She began her professional life as an accountant, eventually exploring roles as a real estate agent and later owning her own house cleaning business in Marlborough, Massachusetts. However, her most treasured role was that of a devoted mother, a career she deemed the greatest of all.
Elsie's love for horses was evident throughout her life, having owned and cared for several horses over the years. She enjoyed the thrill of racing in New Hampshire and Massachusetts, sharing a deep bond with the majestic creatures she adored.
Elsie's family brought her immeasurable joy. She leaves behind her beloved husband of 28 years, Steven Mutti, She is also survived by her children: Gregory Bjork (Stacy), Tracie Grande, and Roxanne Blach (Dane). Her legacy is further carried on by 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her parents, Margaret and George Redd, and her son, James Allen.
Funeral services to honor and celebrate Elsie's life will be held at Baker McCullough Funeral Home, Hodgson Memorial Chapel in Savannah, Georgia, on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at 2:00 pm. The family will be receiving friends from 1:00 pm until the time of the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to The Humane Society of Greater Savannah in Elsie's memory, reflecting her compassionate heart and lifelong love for animals.
