Elaine Helen Bromley, a beloved resident of Savannah, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at the age of 90. Born on Wednesday, March 20, 1935, in Irvington, New Jersey, Elaine was a cherished member of her community and a devoted friend to many including her beloved Mah Jong group.
Elaine was a graduate of her local high school, where she formed friendships that lasted a lifetime. A proud and dedicated professional, she built a longstanding career in sales at Levy #39 Jewelers, where her passion and commitment shone brightly through her years of service. Her colleagues remember her as a consummate professional with an eye for beauty and detail.
In her personal life, Elaine was preceded in death by her cherished husband, Morton Bromley, beloved mother, Celia Hoffman Solodar, father, Ralph Solodar, and many beloved aunts and uncles.
Elaine is survived by: Son, Howard Bromley and his wife, Vicki of Memphis, Tennessee; Daughter, Lisa Heusel and husband, Jeff Heusel of Cosby, Tenneessee. Grandchildren: Kevin Heusel and wife, Anna. Morgan Bromley and his fiancé, Jackie Malish, and Gabriel Bromley.
Service will be held at Bonaventure Cemetery, Monday the 18th of August at 2:00 PM. Elaine Helen Bromley will be dearly missed but forever remembered in the hearts of all who knew her.
The arrangements to celebrate Elaine's life have been entrusted to Baker McCullough Funeral Home Hodgson Memorial Chapel in Savannah, GA.
