Obituary

Donna Manders, a life-long resident of Savannah, Georgia, passed away peacefully on August 6, 2026 leaving behind a legacy of laughter, immense love, and cherished memories.

Above all else, Donna was defined by her deep devotion to God and her commitment to following His ways in everything that she did. Her faith guided her daily life, anchoring her future and shining through in her love for others.

Donna was a true light to everyone who knew her. She loved her family deeply and was happiest whenever they were gathered together. She was the devoted wife of Ted, the proud mother of Lyndsey, and the fun “Da” of Kylie and Grayson, who all brought great joy to her life.

With her contagious laugh, Donna brought a sense of fun wherever she went. She believed life was meant to be enjoyed to the fullest. Whether she was out on her daily walks talking to those passing by, capturing moments behind the lens of her camera, or hunting for shark’s teeth on the beach with her husband, Donna had a beautiful gift for appreciating the details of God’s creation in the world around her. Donna’s faith, warmth, joy, and unfailing love will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

Donna is survived by her loving husband, Ted Manders; her daughter, Lyndsey Bopp (Sam); her grandchildren, Grayson and Kylie Bopp; and her sisters, Kay Ripley and Ann Leverett (Earl). She also leaves behind many beloved nieces, nephews, extended family members, and her dear friends who will miss her deeply.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Reggie and Lanelle Stone; her brother, Gary Stone; and her sister, Vicki Cone.

A celebration of life will be held by her family to honor the extraordinary fun, love, and light she brought into this world and to rejoice that she is at peace now in the arms of her Savior.

The celebration will be held on Saturday, August 15 at 11:30 am at Community Bible Church, 1112 69th Street, Savannah, GA, 31404. There will be a reception for the family and close friends after the service and burial will take place at 3:00 pm at Greenwich Cemetery.
