Donna Sue Hendrix Denmark, affectionately known as a loving mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 6, 2026, at her residence in Eden, Georgia. Born on August 29, 1949, in Portal, Georgia, Donna lived a life rich in love and dedication to her family and community.

Donna was a devoted homemaker, tending lovingly to her home and family. Her nurturing spirit extended beyond the walls of her home as she spent time working with Belk and Home Depot, where she made many cherished friendships. Donna found joy in the simple pleasures of life—whether she was gardening, relaxing on her porch, or sharing her musical talents by singing and playing the guitar.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 57 years, Robert "Bobby" A. Denmark, her brother Ronnie Hendrix, grandson Bradley Burnside, and great-granddaughter Kinsley Knight.

Left to honor her memory are her loving daughters, Robin Denmark Johnson and Donelle Denmark, and her adoring grandchildren, Joshua Robert Johnson, Courtney Knight and Stephanie Burnside. She leaves behind the light of the next generation, her great-grandchildren, Ava Grace Baxter, Arielle Johnson, McKinlee Rose Burnside, and Marlee Stokes. She is also survived by her dear sister-in-law, Joann Hendrix, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and countless friends who became family.

The family invites all who knew and loved Donna to join them for a visitation on Sunday, September 13, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Baker McCullough Funeral Home Garden City Chapel in Garden City, Georgia. The funeral service will be held at the same location on Monday, September 14th, 2026, at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow at the Rincon Cemetery.
