It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Donald Ray Roberson on Wednesday, October 1st, 2025, in Savannah, GA, at the age of 65. Born on Monday, May 16th, 1960, in Swainsboro, GA, Donald lived a life full of love, dedication, and passion.
Donald is lovingly survived by his devoted wife of 16 years, Myrreld Lynch Roberson. He was a proud father to his children, Jessica "Niki" Purdy (Shandon), Christina Ruth, Ray Leon Roberson, and Brad Roberson (Ashley), Weston L. Johnikin; his siblings, Jessie E. Roberson and Kathy Fay Kay; and his grandchildren, Katlin Wilson, Brianna and Ryan Burbage, Garrett Herb Jr., Alysah and Collin Williams, Brandon Ruth, Garrett, Sophia, Simon, August, Kole, Mason and Ashton Roberson, Aiden Branegan. He will be fondly remembered by several aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless other family members and friends.
Donald was preceded in death by his father, Ray "Rayball" Roberson, his mother, Annie Viola Newberry, his daughter, Megan L. Johnikin, his brother, Rayball Roberson, and his sister, Teresa Rebecca Roberson Corns.
Donald was a Retired Automotive Technician who was esteemed for his expertise and dedication to his craft. He had a profound love for racing and could often be found enjoying a quiet yet competitive game of pool. A devoted Baptist, Donald's faith was an important part of his life and he embodied its values through his dedication to his family and his community.
The family would like to thank everyone for their support during this difficult time and extend an invitation to celebrate Donald's life. Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker McCullough Funeral Home-Garden City Chapel. Memorial services will be announced as soon as final details are gathered.
Donald will be remembered for his kindness, laughter, and the countless memories he shared with all who knew him. He will live on in the hearts of his family and friends forever.
