Obituary
Derek "Dewey" Deloach, a cherished son, brother, and friend, passed away on Monday, March 16, 2026. Dewey was born on April 3, 1985, in Savannah, Georgia.
A 2003 graduate of Memorial Day School, Dewey went on to attend South University. Dewey lived a life full of passion and enjoyment, especially in his interests of golf, fishing, and video games. These activities not only brought him happiness but also fostered bonds with his friends and family.
Dewey is survived by his loving mother, Linda Deloach, his devoted brother, Leigh C. Dismuke, and his caring sister, Debbie Kessler, along with her husband, Jeff. Dewey is also survived by his nephews, Jordan and Cage Kessler. He was predeceased by his father, Edward Dexter Deloach, and his brother, David Dexter Deloach.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to everyone who has offered condolences and support during this difficult time.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, March 23, 2026 at 1:30 p.m. at Greenwich Cemetery (330 Greenwich Road, Savannah, GA 31404).
