David Raymond Richardson, a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 23rd, 2026, at his son's home in Guyton, Georgia under the care of Gentiva Hospice. Born on Saturday, August 1st, 1953, in New London, Connecticut, David lived a life full of love, kindness, and dedication.

David is survived by his loving children, son Michael Richardson (Patti), and daughter Monica Beatty (Chris). He was a proud grandfather to Blake, Chase, Madelyn, Graham, Mallory, Peter, and Conner, whom he cherished deeply. David's family also includes his adored siblings, Cyndi Richardson, Bonnie Madore, and Kenny Richardson. He shared a special bond with his life partner, Nancy Alliett, and leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and a vast network of other family members and friends who will miss him dearly.

Preceding him in death were his devoted parents, Raymond Nelson Richardson and Dixie Arlene Dixon Richardson, who instilled in him the values of hard work and kindness.

David was employed at Rib Eye's in North Carolina, where his work ethic and welcoming personality earned him the respect and friendship of many. Known for never meeting a stranger, David's generosity and willingness to lend a hand touched countless lives.

An avid fisherman and woodworker, David found peace and joy in nature and the simple pleasures of life. His love for animals was well-known, and he found great fulfillment in caring for them.
