David "Allen" Harvey

David "Allen" Harvey, 59, of Savannah, died Friday, May 27, 2016 at his residence after a long illness.

He was born in Savannah, Ga., and was employed by H & H Steel Company, and was a Communicant of St. James Catholic Church. He loved to Fish, and work on Cars. He is survived by his wife, Ernestine Hinkle Harvey, Savannah, Ga; mother, Yvonne S. Harvey, Savannah, Ga; daughter, Heather Whitten, (Robert) of Effingham County, Ga; and 2 sisters, Sharon Burgess (Jeff), and Sheila Smith (Duane) both of Savannah, Ga, 2 granddaughters, Amber and Paige Whitten both of Effingham County, Ga and several nieces and nephews, including David Johnson.

Visitation: 5-7 p.m. Thursday, June 2, 2016 at Baker McCullough Funeral Home, Hubert C. Baker Chapel. Rosary Services: 6 p.m. Thursday, June 2, 2016, in the Hubert C. Baker Chapel.

Mass of Christian Burial: 10 a.m. Friday, June 3, 2016 , in the Hubert C. Baker Chapel, with Father Mark Ross, officiating.

Entombment will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens Mausoleum.
