Danny William Hudson

Danny William Hudson, of Savannah, Georgia, passed away peacefully on December 12, 2025, at the age of 67. Born in Dallas, Texas, Danny moved to Savannah as a child, where he would spend the rest of his life surrounded by family and loved ones.

Danny attended Savannah High School and pursued a fulfilling career as a painter. Danny was raised in the Baptist faith. His life was also filled with joyous times spent cheering on his favorite teams, the Atlanta Braves, the Atlanta Falcons, and the Georgia Bulldogs.

A devoted father, grandfather, and friend, Danny is survived by his children, Keith Hudson (Amanda), Diane Michelle Hudson Seelbinder (Jason), and Chris Hudson. His legacy continues through his cherished grandchildren, William Taylor Hudson, Aubryn Hudson, Sarah Michelle Morris, and Daniel Elijah Hudson, and his great-grandchild, Emberlynn Hudson.

Danny was preceded in death by his devoted wife, Cheryl Ann Dixon Hudson; his parents, Bill and Vergie Hudson; his granddaughter, Brylee Ann Hudson, and his sisters, Billie Jean Hudson and Wesley Anne Stewart.

The family invites friends to celebrate Danny’s life during a visitation on Saturday, December 20, 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at the Baker McCullough Funeral Home, Hodgson Memorial Chapel in Savannah, Georgia. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 am at the same location. Following the services, a graveside gathering will take place at Maye River Baptist Church in Bluffton, South Carolina, at 1:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Rheumatoid Arthritis Foundation in Danny’s memory.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker McCullough Funeral Home Hodgson Memorial Chapel. Danny’s gentle spirit, warm heart, and vibrant laughter will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on in the hearts of all who were privileged to know him.
