Connie Jane Clark Newman

Mrs. Connie Jane Clark Newman, age 78, of Savannah passed away on Saturday, September 13, 2025.

Mrs. Newman was born on December 24, 1946 in Savannah, Georgia to the late Hubert R. Clark and the late Mary Isabelle Holmes Clark. She was a 1965 graduate of Savannah High School and attended Armstrong College. Mrs. Newman retired after 32 years from St. Joseph's/Candler Hospital, and she was a member of Calvary Baptist Temple.

Survivors include her husband, Garrett Newman; son, David Christopher Hardin; sister, Carolyn Pruitt; and grandson, Zachary G. Hardin.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 18, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Baker McCullough Funeral Home, Hodgson Memorial Chapel (7415 Hodgson Memorial Drive Savannah, GA 31406).

Interment will follow in Bonaventure Cemetery.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
