Mrs. Clyde J. Cutter, 97, of Savannah, Georgia, entered eternal rest on Sunday, September 27, 2026.

Mrs. Cutter was born May 30, 1929, in Sylvania, Georgia, to the late Lovie and Lilla Oliver. She was a Deaconess, a member of the Senior Choir, and the eldest Mother of First Evergreen Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Deacon Robert Lee Cutter, Sr.

She leaves to cherish her memory her 5 children, Robert L. (Stephanie) Cutter, Jr., Berneithia Robinson, Marvin (Loretta) Cutter, Patricia (Otis) Jackson and Janet (Tim) Elzy; a stepdaughter, Phyllis Lee-Williams; grandchildren, great grandchildren, a great-great-grandchild, and a host of other relatives and friends.

A viewing will be held on Friday evening from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Baker McCullough Funeral Home, Hodgson Memorial Chapel (7415 Hodgson Memorial Drive, Savannah, GA 31406).

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at First Evergreen Missionary Baptist Church (622 E. Bolton Street, Savannah, Georgia 31401).

Family and friends are invited to wear shades of purple to the service.
