Christopher
McCullough
Aug 16, 1989 — Jun 29, 2026
We could keep him close but we couldn't keep him here, Christopher McCullough passed away peacefully with his wife and his mother by his side on Monday, June 29,2026, at the age of 36. A beloved husband, father, son, and friend. Christopher was born in Rincon, Georgia, and resided in Savannah, Georgia where his laughter and personality left a drag path on hearts that can be felt across the universe.
Christopher is survived by his devoted wife, Heather McCullough, his beloved children: Miguel, Estela, and Tony, his loving mother, Donna McCullough, brother William McCullough and sister Amanda Gray. His memory will be eternally treasured by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege to know him.
Christopher proudly served as a Senior Maintenance Technician for the City of Savannah, a profession he adored and was always recruiting for!
Beyond his professional life, Christopher was a man of diverse interests and passions.
Tackling and blocking on many semi-pro teams Chris played with the Falcons(Temple), Revolution(Brunswick), Grizzlies(Brunswick), and Broncos(Port Wentworth). The hole he has left in the huddle will be felt across the UFL.
Whether he was camping, fishing, or hiking, Chris was always in nature, where he felt closest to his distant cousin sasquatch. Always on an adventure he never kept his hands in pocketses hobbitses. From riding the rail at Rockville to signing old Johnny Cash at the Deli mart karaoke, music filled his life! That deep voice will echo in our ears every time a song is played in Chris's memory.
As we mourn the loss of Christopher, we also celebrate his life and the love and laughter he brought to everyone around him. He will be forever missed but never forgotten.
