Rincon

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Christopher "Chris" Bryan Hendrix, who departed this life on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at the age of 46, just a week shy of his 47th birthday. Chris was born in Savannah, GA, on November 19, 1978, and resided in Rincon, GA, where he was dearly loved by family and friends.

Chris is survived by his loving mother, Sharon Pitts Hendrix, and his cherished son, Christopher Hendrix. He was a devoted brother to Wayne Hendrix, Jr. (Tammy), Michael Hendrix (Wendi), Theresa H. English, Kristy Berchfield (Nick), and Anthony Marsico. Chris is also mourned by other relatives and a wide circle of friends whose lives he touched.

He was preceded in death by his father, Wayne Hendrix, with whom Chris has now been reunited.

Professionally, Chris was a talented chef, working at The Tin Fin Restaurant. In addition to his culinary skills, Chris was a skilled tattoo artist, known for his creativity and passion for the craft.

Chris had a zest for life and found joy in cooking, drawing, and cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs. He also was an avid fan of boxing and mixed martial arts.

A private service was held to honor and celebrate Chris's vibrant life. The family would like to extend their gratitude to Baker McCullough Funeral Home Garden City Chapel for their support and arrangements.

Although his time with us was cut short, Chris's legacy lives on in the memories of those who knew and loved him. He will be profoundly missed by all.
